A man in the western Italian region of Lazio is suing his wife for not being able to cook well and not cleaning the house properly. The woman was accused of cruelty to her family. The 40-year-old woman, whose name is withheld, may be sentenced to up to six years in prison.
Her 47-year-old husband said that for the past two years, he has been suffering a lot because of his wife, who has not been able to do the household chores. Her husband complained that she was kicked out of the bedroom and lived in an unsanitary environment.
