An unusual case happened in the city of Manganets, Ukraine. A young mother named Alyona Sedova gave birth to triplets 38 days apart. The first daughter was born at the age of six months, weighing only 980 grams. Of course, this came as a surprise to the young mother. She was taken to the hospital because her water broke.
Although the first girl was born, the other two showed that they had not yet met the world. That’s why the doctors decided not to perform a phantom operation. Their decision was right. After 38 days, Alyon successfully gave birth to her remaining two daughters, and the condition of the triplets is said to be good.
This phenomenon happened because these three fetuses were in different alveoli. The first-born girl was squeezed out of the alveoli of the other two. The remaining two undamaged cells continued to grow and develop inside. But the doctors said that 38 days is a bit longer.
