The Cuban Coast Guard has found the famous American ship SS Cotopaxi, which disappeared after floating in the Caribbean Sea.
The plane disappeared almost 100 years ago, on December 1, 1925, near the Bermuda Triangle.
When the Coast Guard first saw the ship, it was very old and corroded, and during an inspection of the ship, the captain’s diary was found.
The notebook contained information about the daily life of the crew, but no information about the shipwreck or the crew members.
The last entry in the book was dated December 1, 1925. On this day, the distress signal came from the plane, and since then it has been missing for more than 90 years. The ship has 2340 tons of coal
On November 29, 1925, Captain Mayer and 32 sailors left the port of Charleston, South Carolina, to reach Havana, the capital of Cuba. General Abelardo Colome said that the “Cotopaxi” ship, which was suddenly found after more than 90 years, will be studied in detail.
Not everyone knows that the Bermuda Triangle, or “Devil’s Triangle”, is located in the Atlantic Ocean between Florida, Puerto Rico and Bermuda.
This area is known for its mysterious supernatural phenomena.
The example has been repeated by dozens of aircraft and hundreds of ships since the first flight in 1945 when five fighter planes and one aircraft disappeared without a trace in the area.
