Liliya Konovalova, a resident of Uralsk, Kazakhstan, gave birth to twins two and a half months apart, the Ministry of Health reported. According to the Facebook page of the Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan, 29-year-old Liliya Konovaltseva gave birth to a daughter at the 25th week of pregnancy, and her son was born two months and 16 days later.
The country’s Ministry of Health explained that this happened because Konovalova has a very rare pair of vessels. According to statistics, the probability that a healthy child will be born with normal puberty in such a case is only one in 50 million.
He said that thanks to the skilled doctors, the mother and the twins are in good condition. The girl, who was born at only 25 weeks, weighed 850 grams and was 42 cm, while her male sibling, who was born more than two months later, weighed 2.9 kg and was 50 cm.
